Hello!

I founded Cody’s Marine and Auto Spa in January of 2024. I have always enjoyed working with customers as I realized when I started working at 14 in a local restaurant. I then went to work at a car dealership, as I went to college for IT, and worked in the IT industry since 2010.

I moved to Tampa in 2016, still working in the IT industry. However, realizing that sitting behind a desk daily, and only ever engaging with customers via phone became monotonous.

In 2018, I learned I have a love for cleaning vehicles, so I prepared for a career change. I already had a ton of customer service experience, and I learned the science behind auto paint and marine gelcoats.

I took a professional detailing course at Detail King in Pittsburgh, PA. Detail King is where I learned how to detail properly and learn the business side. I got to learn with Jason Fung who is on the IDA board, and a recognized trainer. Detail King is one of two diploma schools in the US to learn detailing.

I went on to become an International Detailing Association Certified Detailer, Motorcycle, and Watercraft certifications. I got my Skills Validated at Mobile Tech Expo in 2024, with Alan Medcraf, also on the IDA board.

Now with all the training, understanding, and certifications, and customer service experience, I want to earn your business! I will treat you and your vehicle with the utmost respect, and care, and will always show you before and after results.
